This is the unique original Gouache painting by Harry Green.

Sheriff Pat Garrett (far left) brought to an end the exploits of Billy the Kid, the 19th century American frontier outlaw and gunman. The small inset shows Lew Wallace - more famous as the author of Ben Hur - who was the governor of New Mexico and who in 1879 asked Billy the Kid to give himself up.
