This is the unique original Gouache painting by Harry Green.

The "Battle of Dogger Bank" occurred when a convoy of the Russian Fleet mistook British shipping boats for Japanese torpedo boats and ended firing on both them and each other.

This fiasco took place on the night of 22nd November 1904. Vice-Admiral Rozhestvensky the Russian commander is shown.
