These are the unique original Gouache paintings by Gerry Embleton.

Two brilliant art boards painted by Gerry Embleton in 1963 for an adaptation of Hans Christian Andersen's 'The Little Mermaid'.

These boards show the little mermaid seeking out the help of Ursula the Sea Witch, and being discovered by the Prince at the foot of his castle staircase. Lovely illustration throughout.

This classic love story adaptation was published in the British comic Robin, Volume 11 No.37 on 14th September 1963.

One art boards measure 360mm x 445mm , the other 360mm x 391mm.
