Jesus' triumphant entry into Jerusalem marks the beginning of The Passion. Jesus riding his donkey echoes this regal arrival in Zechariah's prophecy: Rejoice greatly, O daughter Zion! Shout aloud, O daughter Jerusalem! Lo, your king comes to you, triumphant and victorious is he; humble and riding on a donkey, on a colt, the foal of a donkey.

Originally published in Treasure issue 117 and later used for a book of children's Bible stories, Tales of Jesus.
