This is the unique original Gouache painting by Septimus Scott.

A superb painting by Scott depicting a tense scene from 'The Children of the New Forest' the novel by Captain Marryatt published in 1847.

Scott exhibited at the Royal Academy and was a member of the Royal Watercolour Society and the quality really shows here.

This is the original art used for the cover of Thriller Picture Library #38 published 7th May 1953.
