This is the Signed unique original Pen & Ink drawing by Enric Badia Romero. This strip from legendary Modesty Blaise artist Enric Badia Romero was drawn in 1994 for the 79th Modesty Blaise Story written by Peter O'Donnell- Guido The Jinx.
Guido, a writer who appeared in several earlier stories, seems to act a little like a magnet for bad luck, and here Willie Garvin averts disaster by throwing one of his knives to strike hilt first at his gun hand. This gives Modesty the millisecond advantage she needs to launch a ruthless flying strike into Kung-Li (The leader of a gang of mercenaries assembled to steal uranium from a Russian military Colonel).
The fantastic inking by Romero boasts incredibly neat lines, fast strokes, dynamic poses and action in every panel.
Enric Badia Romero has drawn more Modesty Blaise strips than any other of the Modesty Blaise artists, and is also responsible for the immensely popular strip AXA.
Modesty Blaise was Peter O'Donnell's most famous literary creation and has appeared in many popular novels and newspaper strips for nearly 40 years.
This is a rare chance to own an original piece of newspaper strip history.
