This is the original Watercolour painting by Philip Mendoza.

One of the original watercolour paintings commissioned for a children's illustrated edition of Kenneth Grahame's classic story The Wind in the Willows. Published in 1983, the book is filled with Philip Mendoza's superb art illustrating the adventures in Wild Wood of Ratty, Mole, Toad, Badger and their friends.

This painting is from page 107 in the book and shows Toad, Ratty and Mole talking around the dinner table.
