This is the Signed unique original Gouache painting by Angus McBride.

A characteristically humorous depiction of the frontier settlement of Dawson City, presumably on a rather loose Saturday night. Dawson City in the Yukon was the epicentre of the Klondike Gold Rush between 1896 and 1899.

Inset is a depiction of a steam paddle boat on the Yukon River which flows through the town. The painting was used for an article about the Gold Rush that was published in World of Wonder issue 40, 1970.
