This is the printed page from The Sphere dated July 18th 1914 and is taken from Matania's personal archives.

The scene depicts the King (George V) and Queen in Scotland. The Royal couple visited the Parkhead forge in Glasgow and inspected the operations of gun making. They were presented with a 100 ton crane carrying a steel sling with a little girl carrying a bouquet. Her name was Miss Annie Dunlop, daughter of one of the timekeepers at the forge.
