Milo Manara was commissioned by Dino De Laurentiis to make a series of studies for a potential remake of the 1967 film classic featuring Jane Fonda as Barbarella.
The result of these drawings by Manara was fabulous, but unfortunately the film was never remade due to the production attempting to secure an $80 million budget from Universal Pictures.
This beautiful print is a copy reserved for the artist, as indicated by the handwritten P.A. in the left hand corner. The print has also been fully hand signed by Milo Manara.
