This is the unique original Gouache painting by Harry Green.

After the success of the London Underground many other countries developed underground railways in their major cities. The main image here shows the Moscow Metro which was built on a monumental scale.

Top right is a train from the Paris Metro famous for its quiet running due to the rubber compound wheels.

Top left an old and a "modern" London Underground sign and an iconic Paris Metro sign.
