This is the unique original Gouache painting by Belvision Studios (after Hergé).

Exclusive opportunity to own this beautiful original hand-painted Cel from the 1962 Belvision animation 'L'Etoile Mysterieuse' or 'The Shooting Star' in English.

This formed part of the classic original series of 1960s Belvision studios animations “Hergé's adventures of Tintin”.

The screen shot in the additional photo shows the scene at exactly 40mins 10seconds just as The Captain makes a dashing rescue.

Extremely rare to come by, these Cels are the original meticulously hand painted gouache on acetate pieces which were used in the animation.

The Cels are also paired to their original pencil drawn production drawings.

The Belvision animation studio was founded in 1954 in Belgium by Raymond Leblanc, and was Europe's most prestigious animation studio, producing animations for all three of the main Franco-Belgian productions: Tintin, Asterix and Lucky Luke.
